" Why does my computer run SO SLOW?"

This is the most frequently  asked question involving PCs. The answer can be one factor, or a number of factors combined. Contrary to what most consumers believe, the main factor is NOT lack of Hard Drive space; It's more likely that the cause is :

• Not enough Memory- one of the easiest and least expensive problems to fix. Adding Memory is probably the most effective way to see an immediate increase in your PC's performance.  Computech can check the specs on your system and advise on the best way to optimize your Memory.

• Too many programs loaded at Startup and lurking in the background , eating up Memory and CPU resources. Easy to remedy, but best addressed by a Technician so as not to disable critical Operating System functions. Done routinely as part of Computech's Tune-up  Service.
